We are seeking a Pensions Data Analyst to join a London based pensions organisation.

This is an exciting opportunity for an analytical pensions professional to focus on data quality, cleansing and analysis to ensure member records meet the highest standards and regulatory requirements. You will play a key role in detecting errors, standardising data and working collaboratively with internal teams and external employers to ensure scheme data is accurate and fit for purpose.

The Role:

You will play a key role in analysing, cleansing and maintaining pension scheme data, ensuring full compliance with regulatory standards and supporting overall data integrity.

Key Responsibilities:

• Data Analysis & Cleansing: Carry out initial analysis to assess data quality, identify gaps or errors, and execute bulk data corrections and updates.
• Database Maintenance: Ensure member databases are accurate, complete, current, and aligned with stakeholder records.
• Regulatory Compliance: Operate to standards that meet the Pensions Regulator’s recordkeeping guidance and validation procedures.
• Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement: Build strong working relationships with internal operations teams and scheme employers to resolve data inconsistencies and obtain correct information.
• Reporting: Complete regular data analysis reports to monitor data quality and support continuous improvement.

Experience & Skills Required:

• At least 2 years of pension administration and data maintenance /entry experience.
• Advanced Excel and spreadsheet skills for data analysis and calculations.
• Strong computer literacy, including MS Office and SharePoint.
• Sound understanding of pension regulations and the Pensions Regulator.
• Excellent attention to detail, with strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work well in a team and manage non-routine work situations.
• Desirable: UPM or SQL knowledge.
