Our client is a leading name in the construction industry, delivering high-quality new-build homes across the region. We are currently seeking a skilled and reliable Snagger / Finisher to join the team on a new-build housing site in Exeter.

Role Overview: As a Snagger / Finisher, you will play a key role in ensuring newly built properties meet the highest standards of quality and finish. Working on a busy residential development, you will be responsible for identifying and rectifying minor defects, completing finishing touches, and ensuring properties are ready for handover.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carrying out snagging inspections on newly built properties
• Identifying and rectifying minor defects and imperfections
• Completing finishing works, including filling, sanding, painting, and touch-ups
• Ensuring internal finishes meet the required quality standards
• Checking doors, skirting boards, fixtures, fittings, and other finishing details
• Working alongside site managers and other trades to ensure work is completed efficiently
• Maintaining a clean, tidy, and safe working environment
• Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard and within agreed timescales

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a Snagger, Finisher, or in a similar construction role is preferred
• Experience working on new-build housing developments is advantageous
• Good attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality workmanship
• Ability to identify and rectify minor defects independently
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Strong work ethic and a positive attitude
• Good understanding of health and safety regulations
• Valid CSCS Card preferred
