Facilities Manager - Hard Services

I’m working with a prestigious Central London property estate looking to appoint an experienced Hard Services Facilities Manager to join for 18-Months, taking on the lead for M&E and hard services across a large, diverse property portfolio.

Spanning commercial offices, residential, retail, healthcare and education, this is a fantastic opportunity for someone who wants to step into a strategic technical role where they can genuinely shape how M&E services are managed across an estate.

The role will include:

• Developing and implementing an estate-wide M&E and hard services strategy
• Taking technical ownership of building services, compliance, maintenance and asset performance
• Reviewing existing processes, contracts and risk actions to identify improvements
• Leading procurement, mobilisation and management of M&E contracts
• Driving improvements across BMS, controls, energy efficiency and building performance
• Providing specialist technical support to FM, maintenance and project teams
• Supporting lifecycle planning, budgets, refurbishments and investment decisions
• Managing consultants and suppliers to drive performance and continuous improvement

What they’re looking for:

• 5+ years’ experience within Technical Services, Hard FM or M&E management
• Strong knowledge of SFG20, statutory compliance, asset management and lifecycle planning
• Experience developing M&E strategies, specifications and service delivery models
• Experience with BMS/EMS, controls and energy optimisation
• Strong commercial and supplier management skills
• Confident working across complex, multi-site property portfolios
