The Role

As a Deputy Store Manager at Lidl, you’ll be cool, calm, and collected, getting stuck in on the shop floor and behind the scenes. From managing cash processes and monitoring stock integrity to inspiring your colleagues, you’ll play a huge part in creating a place where you and your whole team can do your best work.

You’ll enjoy great responsibility while the Store Manager is absent, taking ownership of the store and leading by example.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set a spectacular example for the store team and customers alike.

• Independently manage the store in the absence of the Store Manager.

• Motivate and support your team, embodying Lidl's core Company Values.

• Diligently check and work deliveries, manage the till area, and monitor KPIs.

• Be a friendly face for every customer, offering top-tier service and addressing all queries.

• Competently comply with Health and Safety laws, standards, and guidelines.

• Proven experience leading and developing a team in a challenging, fast-paced retail or commercial environment.

• Excellent communication skills to support both colleagues and customers in a friendly, open manner.

• A natural knack for time management, delegation, and problem-solving.

• A strong ability to monitor, manage, and improve key performance indicators (KPIs).
