Purchase Ledger Clerk

Troon | 6-Month Fixed-Term Contract | Salary DoE

We are recruiting a Purchase Ledger Clerk to join our client’s finance team in Troon on a six-month fixed-term contract.

This is a great opportunity for an organised and detail-focused individual with purchase ledger experience to join a busy finance function.

Key Responsibilities

• Process supplier invoices and credit notes accurately and efficiently.

• Match invoices to purchase orders and ensure correct coding and authorisation.

• Reconcile supplier statements and resolve invoice queries.

• Maintain accurate supplier accounts and financial records.

• Assist with payment runs, month-end procedures and audit requirements.

• Liaise with suppliers and internal teams to resolve discrepancies.

• Ensure financial procedures and controls are followed.

About You

• Previous purchase ledger or accounts payable experience.

• Strong numerical skills and excellent attention to detail.

• Confident using Microsoft Excel and other Office applications.

• Highly organised, with the ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines.

• A proactive team player with strong communication skills and a professional approach.

• Driving license essential due to location.
