Key Responsibilities

As a Reception Team Leader, you’ll take ownership of the reception department and help create a memorable experience for every guest. Your responsibilities will include:

• Overseeing the day-to-day operation of the reception department.
• Leading, motivating and supporting the Reception team to deliver exceptional guest service.
• Managing guest enquiries, requests and complaints, resolving issues promptly and professionally.
• Ensuring reception procedures, standards and policies are consistently followed.
• Taking on Duty Management shifts and supporting the wider hotel operation.
• Maintaining high standards of professionalism and attention to detail throughout the guest journey.

What we’re looking for

To succeed in this role, you’ll be an experienced hospitality professional with strong leadership skills and a passion for excellent customer service. You’ll have:

• Previous experience working on a busy hotel reception desk.
• Strong working knowledge of the Opera PMS.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• The confidence to make decisions and resolve issues independently.
• Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail.
• The ability to remain calm, professional and effective in a fast-paced environment.
• A positive, hands-on approach to leading and supporting a team.
