Skilled Production Operative

As a Machine Minder, you will be responsible for running and checking machines in a busy food production area. You will make sure the machines run safely and work well. You will check that products meet the right standard. You will make basic adjustments and report any problems.     Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out start-up and safety checks, run production machines safely and correctly
• Check machines are working as they should
• Monitor machine performance during production
• Make basic adjustments when needed
• Carry out regular quality and production checks
• Complete clear and accurate production records
• Report machine faults and production issues
• Help keep the line running and reduce downtime
• Support product changeovers and start-ups
• Follow work instructions and set processes

 

About You

• Experience in food production, machine operation, or a similar role
• Good understanding of production machines and equipment
• Experience of running or monitoring machines
• Able to make basic machine adjustments
