Senior Contracts Manager / Operations Manager | West Yorkshire | £90k–£100k + Package

Looking for an opportunity to step into a senior operational role with an established main contractor?

We're recruiting for a growing construction business based in West Yorkshire, delivering a varied workload across commercial, industrial, retail and education projects.

The business is looking to strengthen its senior management team with someone who can take responsibility for overseeing project delivery and supporting the continued development of its operations.

The Role;

• Oversee the delivery of multiple construction projects from start to completion
• Manage and support Contracts Managers, Project Managers and site teams
• Ensure projects are delivered safely, on programme, within budget and to the required quality
• Monitor operational performance, resources and project risks
• Work closely with commercial and pre-construction teams
• Maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants and subcontractors
• Work alongside the Managing Director to improve processes and support the growth of the business

What We're Looking For;

• Experience as a Contracts Manager, Senior Contracts Manager or in a senior operational role
• Strong main contracting background across general building projects
• Proven experience overseeing multiple projects and managing delivery teams
• Good commercial awareness and understanding of project profitability
• Confident dealing with clients, subcontractors and senior management
• Comfortable working from the company's West Yorkshire office
• Open to candidates from regional contractors or larger Tier 1 businesses looking for a different environment
