5 days a week on-site in Farnborough
£550-£650 a day Inside IR35
Requires Active SC Clearance

We are recruiting an Automation Engineer to support the delivery of critical defence programmes within a secure environment. This is a fully onsite role in Farnborough, requiring candidates to hold active SC clearance and be comfortable working on sensitive projects.

• Python (desirable)

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain infrastructure and configuration automation.
• Build Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using Terraform.
• Create and manage Ansible playbooks for system deployment and configuration.
• Develop scripting solutions using Bash and PowerShell.
• Support secure, scalable, and repeatable deployment processes.
• Work closely with infrastructure, platform, and engineering teams within a defence setting.

Requirements

• Active SC Clearance (essential).
• Proven automation engineering experience.
• Strong Ansible, Terraform, Bash, and PowerShell skills.
• Experience working in secure or defence environments.
• Python knowledge would be advantageous but is not essential.
