About the role
This Partner-level opportunity offers a unique blend of leadership and technical work in private client law, including:
- Leading complex wills and succession planning projects
- Inheritance tax planning for individuals, with a focus on agricultural and business clients
- Managing taxable and complex estate administrations
- Creating and administering trusts
- Driving business development and expanding existing client relationships
While a following would be advantageous, the firm is primarily interested in a commercially minded, proactive professional eager to help shape and grow the department.
The ideal candidate
- Experienced Private Client Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive at Senior Associate or Partner level
- Proven track record in complex estate planning and trust work
- Strong business development skills and relationship management abilities
- Motivated to lead, mentor, and develop a team
- Strategic thinker with a proactive, commercially aware mindset
