About the Role
Pure Staff are recruiting for a Van Driver on behalf of a well-established distribution business operating within the home and household goods sector. This is a fantastic opportunity for a Van Driver seeking long-term, ongoing work with a professional employer that regularly offers permanent positions to successful agency workers.
Working from the Tamworth area, the successful Van Driver will complete multi-drop deliveries to both commercial and residential customers nationwide.
Duties and Responsibilities

• Complete multi-drop deliveries of household products to businesses and residential properties
• Carry out typically 6 to 8 deliveries per shift
• Safely load, unload and handball goods as required
• Complete delivery paperwork accurately using an electronic POD device
• Conduct daily vehicle checks and report defects promptly
• Deliver excellent customer service at every delivery location
• Follow all company health and safety procedures and driving regulations

Shift Pattern

• Monday to Friday
• Typical start time of 06:00
• Flexible start times may be available where operationally possible
• Shift lengths between 8 and 12 hours
• Long-term ongoing work available
• No regular weekend working

Requirements

• Full UK Driving Licence
• Previous Van Driver experience preferred
• Comfortable with heavy lifting and manual handling duties
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to use electronic POD systems accurately
• Reliable, professional and safety-conscious attitude
• Good understanding of UK road safety regulations
