About the role
THE ROLE:
A highly regarded regional law firm is seeking an experienced Senior Family Solicitor to lead its Kent office as Branch Manager. This role offers genuine autonomy, strong organisational support, and the chance to shape the future of a growing family law practice, making it ideal for an ambitious solicitor ready to take the next step in their career. You will manage a varied caseload of privately funded family law matters, including divorce, financial remedy proceedings, cohabitation disputes, pre- and post-nuptial agreements, and private children law cases. Alongside handling your own files, you will play a pivotal role in developing the team, strengthening the firm's regional presence, and driving the continued growth and success of the practice.
THE CANDIDATE:
Applications are welcomed from Solicitors or Legal Executives with a minimum of 5 years’ PQE and strong experience across private family law, including financial remedy proceedings, children matters, and complex, high-value disputes. The successful candidate will have leadership or supervisory experience, excellent communication and organisational skills, and the ability to manage a demanding caseload independently. A proactive, commercially minded approach and commitment to exceptional client service are essential, alongside a collaborative attitude and the drive to support the continued growth of the practice.
THE FIRM:
The firm is highly regarded for its exceptional client service, quality privately funded family work, and supportive, collaborative culture. It offers a modern, inclusive environment that values individual contributions and encourages career progression. In addition to a competitive salary, the successful candidate will benefit from a comprehensive package that includes BUPA private healthcare, a contributory pension scheme, and access to structured training, development, and leadership programmes designed to support long-term career advancement and professional success.
