Hybrid Working – Flexible across Wales | 37 Hours per Week (Monday-Friday)
Pay rate: £15.59 per Hour
Fixed-Term Contract until 31st January 2027

We are recruiting for a Payroll Assistant to join a busy and supportive People & Payroll Services team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop their career within payroll, HR administration, or shared services, gaining valuable experience in a fast-paced and rewarding environment.

The Role
You will provide a range of payroll and HR administrative support, ensuring a high-quality service is delivered across the organisation. Responsibilities will include:

• Payroll processing
• Drafting changes to terms and conditions of employment
• Administration of parental leave and sickness absence
• Pensions administration
• Responding to HR and payroll enquiries
• Producing management information and supporting data analysis
• Assisting with process improvements and service enhancements

About You
To be successful, you will have:

• Experience working within a shared services, payroll, or administrative environment
• A good understanding of HR/payroll systems and relevant software
• Strong organisational and prioritisation skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• A customer-focused approach with strong interpersonal skills
• Accurate data entry skills and good IT proficiency
• The ability to work under pressure, use initiative, and meet deadlines
