Job Opportunity: Waste & Recycling Operatives - Durham Council - County Durham
Are you looking for active, hands-on work that makes a real difference in your community? We're hiring three Waste and Recycling Operatives to join our team supporting Durham Council. This is an ongoing opportunity with no set end date, offering flexibility and the potential to become permanent.
Key Details:
- Location: DL17 0SD - must be able to get here for a 7AM start
- Working Days: Tuesday to Friday
- Shift Length: Paid for 9.25 hours, even if you finish early!
- Pay Rate: Minimum £13.05 per hour
- Pay Frequency: Weekly
- Start Date: ASAP
What You'll Be Doing:
- Collecting, sorting, and recycling materials such as glass, metal, paper, and plastics
- Working across various settings including recycling sites and collection vehicles
- Supporting both residential and commercial waste services
