West Hull £13.45 per hour Rotating Shifts: 6:00am-2:00pm / 2:00pm-10:00pm Monday to Friday

The Opportunity

We are recruiting on behalf of a leading logistics and distribution operation in West Hull for a number of Warehouse Operatives to join a busy and fast-paced warehouse environment.

The Role

Working as part of a busy warehouse team, you will be responsible for ensuring customer orders are picked, packed and dispatched accurately and efficiently.

Duties will include:

• Order picking using handheld scanners


• Packing customer orders to a high standard


• Accurately selecting products ranging from single-item orders through to full pallet quantities


• Checking products and quantities against order requirements


• Labelling and preparing goods for dispatch


• Maintaining high standards of accuracy and attention to detail


• Working to daily targets and service level agreements


• Ensuring a clean, safe and organised working environment


• Supporting other warehouse functions as required

What We're Looking For

• Previous warehouse, logistics or distribution experience is desirable


• Experience using handheld scanning equipment would be advantageous


• Good attention to detail and accuracy


• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment


• Strong work ethic and positive attitude


• Good communication skills


• Ability to work as part of a team


• Flexibility to work the rotating shift pattern
