Learning Support Assistant (LSA) - Barry | Immediate Starts Available

Academics are currently recruiting experienced Learning Support Assistants (LSAs) for a range of primary schools in Barry, with opportunities available for an immediate start.

We have a high demand for experienced LSAs to support pupils across local primary schools. Whether you're looking for flexible, ad-hoc work or a longer-term placement, we have a variety of opportunities to suit your availability.

The Role

• Supporting pupils in a primary school setting.
• Providing classroom support to help pupils engage with their learning.
• Working alongside teachers and other support staff to create a positive learning environment.
• Adapting to the needs of different pupils and schools.
• Taking on ad-hoc cover or longer-term placements, depending on your preferences.

We're Looking For

• Previous experience working as a Learning Support Assistant (LSA) in Barry is essential.
• Someone reliable, adaptable and passionate about supporting children's learning.
• A positive, patient and supportive approach.
• The ability to work effectively as part of a school team.

Requirements

• An Enhanced DBS certificate.
• Registration with the Education Workforce Council (EWC).
