Early Years Teacher & Nursery Lead – Watford | January 2027
We are seeking an ambitious, experienced and inspirational Early Years Teacher to lead the Nursery team at a friendly and welcoming primary school in Watford from January 2027.
This is an exciting leadership opportunity to work closely with the Headteacher and Pre-School Manager, helping to shape the future of a school that is on an impressive journey of improvement. Following significant progress since its previous Ofsted judgement of Requires Improvement, the school is committed to achieving an Outstanding rating, and they are looking for someone who can play a key role in that journey.
The successful candidate will be a passionate and creative Early Years practitioner with the vision and enthusiasm to inspire both children and colleagues. You will lead a dedicated Nursery team, creating a nurturing, stimulating and inclusive learning environment where every child is encouraged to flourish and achieve their full potential.
To be considered for this role, you must:

Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
Have experience teaching within an Early Years setting.
Demonstrate strong leadership skills or have experience leading within an Early Years environment.
Be committed to delivering exceptional teaching and learning while supporting the professional development of colleagues.
