Quality Inspector

Involve Recruitment (Midlands) Ltd are seeking a meticulous and dedicated Quality Inspector to join a high functioning manufacturing team ON A SHORT TERM CONTRACT . The primary responsibility of this role is to ensure that all products meet established quality standards and safety regulations before reaching customers. The ideal candidate will play a vital role Location: West Bromwich Pay Rate: £15.38–£17.94 per hour / £ 20.48 - £23.88 per hour Hours: 37 hours per week Contract: Ongoing temporary / short-term project- at least until the end of 2026 with a chance of extension into 2027 subject to project requirements Drivers license is essential Involve Recruitment (Midlands) Ltd is recruiting a Quality Inspector for an exciting HS2 project. This is a great opportunity for someone with manufacturing, assembly or quality inspection experience to join a busy team. Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out visual and dimensional inspections of frames and assemblies.
• Check products against engineering drawings and specifications.
• Record inspection results using a laptop.
• Identify and report quality issues and non-conforming products.
• Work closely with production teams to ensure quality standards are met.
• Follow health and safety procedures and support continuous improvement.

What We’re Looking For:

• Experience in manufacturing, assembly or quality inspection is desirable.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Confident using measuring equipment such as tape measures, verniers and gauges.
• Good attention to detail, numeracy and basic IT skills.
• A proactive team player with good communication skills.

Working Arrangements: The role will involve working both on-site and off-site when required. Previous and similar experience is required - immediate start (week commencing 19.11.2026 ideally)
