Salary: £800-£900 per week, depending on hours and overtime

• Delivery area: North London
• Average drops: Approximately 12 per day
• Working hours: 11–12 hours per day
• ADR qualification: Required, although training can be provided if necessary.

The Role

We are looking for experienced Class 2 HGV Drivers to join a well-established transport operation in Dartford.

This is a full-time, permanent position offering consistent work, weekly pay and your own allocated truck.

The vehicles are modern Euro 6 automatic Volvos and DAFs.

This role is ideally suited to experienced multi-drop drivers who are confident working independently, managing their own workload and driving in and around London.

Working Hours

• Monday to Friday
• Typical start times of 5:00am-6:00am
• Standard working days of approximately 11 hours
• Some days may be shorter, around 9-10 hours
• Overtime paid when working beyond 11 hours
• Approximately 8-10 deliveries or collections per day
• London driving will form part of the role

About the Role

You will be working directly with a customer on a dedicated contract, with their team acting as your main point of contact for day-to-day operational work.

You will also have a separate point of contact for any issues relating to your vehicle or concerns regarding the work you are being asked to carry out.

The role involves palletised transport and multiple deliveries and collections to commercial premises across the UK.

You will be expected to work independently and take responsibility for planning and completing your daily workload efficiently.

Your typical day will include:

• Completing daily walk-round and vehicle safety checks
• Ensuring your digital tachograph is operated correctly and legally
• Reporting to the office to collect your daily consignments
• Checking and securing your load correctly
• Planning your route and positioning your load appropriately
• Contacting customers where possible to advise them of your ETA
• Completing approximately 8-10 deliveries or collections per day
• Carrying out additional work when required within your normal working hours

Communication and preparation are key to ensuring the workload is completed efficiently and with minimal disruption.

About You

We are looking for experienced Class 2 multi-drop drivers only.

You will need to be:

• An experienced Class 2 HGV driver
• Confident carrying out multi-drop deliveries and collections
• Comfortable driving in London
• Able to work independently and manage your own workload
• Efficient, reliable and organised
• Committed to safe working practices
• Confident communicating with customers and the transport team
• Conscious of your own health and safety and that of others

Essential Requirements

• Valid Class 2 (Category C) licence
• Valid Digital Tachograph
• Up-to-date Driver CPC
• Previous multi-drop HGV driving experience
• Good understanding of vehicle and load safety

ADR Package licence is beneficial but not essential, with training available where required.
