Inspection Technician and Inventory Planner

We’re recruiting for an Inspection Technician / Inventory Planner to join a leading medical device service team. This varied role combines hands-on technical inspection of flexible endoscopes with inventory planning and spare parts management to support efficient repair operations.

The successful candidate will have experience within medical devices, engineering, electronics, technical inspection or inventory planning.

Key Responsibilities

• Inspect and assess flexible endoscopes using visual, mechanical and functional testing.
• Identify faults, damage and warranty-related repairs.
• Operate specialist diagnostic equipment.
• Manage spare parts inventory and forecast stock requirements.
• Maintain accurate records within ERP systems.
• Support inventory audits and quality compliance activities.
• Liaise with technicians, customer service, quality teams and global planning functions.

Skills/Experience

• Experience within medical devices, engineering, electronics, technical inspection or inventory planning.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Experience using ERP systems such as SAP, Microsoft Dynamics or similar.
• Excellent organisational and communication skills.
• Comfortable working in a regulated, quality-focused environment.
