Laboratory Technician – Renewable Resources | Location: Stanford-le-Hope, Essex
Salary: £28,000 to £30,000 per annum DOE
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 am to 5:30 pm
Job Type: Permanent, Full Time
Noble Recruiting is seeking a Laboratory Technician to join an established renewable resources company in Stanford-le-Hope, Essex. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented Laboratory Technician with an interest in laboratory testing, chemical analysis and quality control to join a growing team within the renewable resources sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out laboratory testing and analysis of components and water samples.
- Calibrate and maintain laboratory equipment.
- Prepare chemical blends and additive solutions.
- Follow laboratory testing procedures and quality management systems.
- Identify and report non-conformities and out-of-specification results.
- Support continuous improvement of laboratory processes.
- Assist with Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) and ICP-MS project activities.
Skills & Experience
- Previous experience in a laboratory, chemical testing or quality control environment desirable.
- Degree in Chemistry or a related scientific discipline advantageous.
- Strong analytical, technical and organisational skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Understanding of laboratory quality management procedures.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Full UK driving licence and own transport essential due to the location.
