Export Ocean Freight Operator Basildon, Essex
£30,000 to £33,500
Permanent on-site
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 5:30 pm

Noble Recruiting are looking for an experienced Export Ocean Freight Operator to join an established freight forwarding team in Basildon.
The Role
- Manage ocean freight exports and cross-trade shipments from start to finish.
- Prepare customs export declarations and shipping documentation.
- Coordinate shipments, quotations and customer communications.
- Ensure accurate invoicing and compliance with procedures.
- Liaise with customers, suppliers and internal departments.
What We’re Looking For
- Minimum 2 years’ sea freight export experience.
- Good understanding of customs procedures and logistics operations.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- Confident using Excel and freight management systems.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
