About the role

Assistant Site Manager – Residential Housing

Location: Warwick
Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent

Are you an ambitious construction professional looking to take the next step in your career?

We’re looking for an Assistant Site Manager to join our team and help deliver exceptional new homes across our growing portfolio of residential developments.

You’ll work closely with the Site Manager to ensure that each phase of the build process runs smoothly - from groundwork to final handover. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your skills and progress toward a future Site Manager role within a supportive, high-performing team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Site Manager in overseeing all on-site operations for new housing developments.

  • Supervise subcontractors, trades, and direct labour to ensure work is completed safely, on time, and to the required standard.

  • Assist with planning, scheduling, and coordinating materials, deliveries, and resources to keep the build programme on track.

  • Maintain a strong focus on health, safety, and environmental standards at all times.

  • Carry out regular quality inspections to ensure compliance with drawings, specifications, and NHBC requirements.

  • Keep accurate site records, progress reports, and documentation.

  • Help with snagging, customer handovers, and ensuring a high-quality finish on all homes.

  • Build positive relationships with suppliers, contractors, and internal teams to support smooth project delivery.

About You

  • Experience working on residential construction sites (ideally new build housing).

  • Strong understanding of the full build process and NHBC standards.

  • Excellent organisational and communication skills.

  • Proactive and reliable with a “hands-on” approach.

  • Committed to delivering quality, safety, and customer satisfaction.

  • SMSTS/SSSTS and a valid CSCS card are desirable.

  • Qualifications such as HNC/HND or NVQ Level 4/5 in Construction Management are an advantage.

What We Offer

  • Competitive salary and benefits package.

  • Ongoing training, development, and career progression opportunities.

  • Supportive and professional working environment.

  • The opportunity to contribute to high-quality housing projects that make a real impact.

Please apply to the role asap for a discreet discussion.
