Project Manager Construction Consultancy

A growing construction consultancy in Manchester is looking for an ambitious Project Manager to join their team. The Project Manager will work across a strong pipeline of residential and hotel developments, supporting clients through the full project lifecycle. This is an excellent opportunity for a Project Manager who wants to work on high-quality schemes while continuing to build their experience within a supportive consultancy environment.

The successful Project Manager will take responsibility for managing projects from early design stages through to completion. The Project Manager will work closely with clients, consultants and contractors, while the Project Manager will also have the opportunity to take on greater responsibility as their experience develops.

You must have prior construction consultancy experience to be considered for this role.

The Project Manager’s role

The Project Manager will support and lead the delivery of residential and hotel projects, ensuring each scheme is managed effectively against programme, quality and cost requirements.

Responsibilities will include coordinating consultant teams, managing project programmes, attending client and site meetings, preparing progress reports, monitoring risk and supporting the successful delivery of projects from inception through to completion.

The role will suit a Project Manager who is confident working in a client-facing environment and enjoys taking ownership of project delivery.

The Project Manager

The successful candidate will have:

• Project Management experience within a construction consultancy

• Experience working on residential, hotel, hospitality or similar property projects

• A degree in Project Management, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying or a related construction discipline

• Strong client-facing and communication skills

• Good understanding of the full project lifecycle

• Experience coordinating multidisciplinary consultant teams

• Strong organisational and programme management skills

• MRICS, MAPM, ChPP or progress towards a relevant professional qualification would be advantageous
