What You’ll Be Doing – The Day-to-Day Role

• Loading and unloading passenger baggage and cargo.
• Transporting baggage between the terminal and aircraft.
• Supporting aircraft turnaround operations.
• Operating ground support equipment following full training.
• Working safely around aircraft, vehicles and airport equipment.
• Following all airport security, safety and operational procedures.
• Working closely with colleagues and airline teams.
• Completing tasks efficiently within strict aircraft turnaround times.

What We’re Looking For

We want people who are:

• Reliable, punctual and hardworking.
• Physically fit and comfortable undertaking regular manual handling.
• Happy working outdoors in different weather conditions.
• Comfortable working in a busy, fast-paced airport environment.
• Good communicators and team players.
• Flexible and able to work shifts, including early mornings, evenings, weekends and bank holidays.

Previous experience in aviation, airports, warehousing, logistics or other physical/manual roles would be an advantage, but it is not essential. Your attitude, enthusiasm and willingness to learn are what matter most.

Shift Pattern – 5 Days On, 3 Days Off

Our ramp operations run throughout the day, so flexibility is essential.

• 5 days working followed by 3 consecutive days off.
• Early shifts can start from approximately 05:00.
• Late shifts can finish around 00:00.
• Shift times will vary depending on operational requirements.
• Working hours may change during the summer flying programme.

This rotating shift pattern provides regular blocks of time off while supporting the needs of a busy airport operation.

Aviation Security Requirements

All successful applicants must be able to complete the required airport security vetting, criminal record checks and background checks before commencing employment.
