The Opportunity

Are you confident, target-driven and passionate about building relationships? This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated Business Development Executive to generate new sales opportunities, connect with key decision-makers and support account managers in driving business growth within a B2B environment.

You’ll play a key role in developing the sales pipeline through proactive outreach, engaging conversations and effective appointment setting, with clear targets and opportunities to develop your commercial skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Proactively contact prospective customers and book meetings for the account management team, targeting 40 meetings per month.

• Identify key decision-makers, develop new contacts and generate quality sales opportunities.

• Build positive customer relationships through professional, consultative communication.

• Understand the company’s services and communicate their value effectively.

• Maintain accurate CRM records, customer information and activity reports.

• Work towards KPIs and sales targets, focusing on contact rates, meeting generation and return on investment.

• Produce professional and accurate customer correspondence.

• Manage your time effectively, prioritise workloads and maintain consistent sales activity.

• Participate in training and coaching to continually improve sales performance.

• Collaborate with colleagues while taking ownership of individual targets and responsibilities.

About You

• At least two years’ experience in a similar B2B role; three to five years’ experience would be advantageous.

• Confident communicator with strong relationship-building and listening skills.

• Proactive, organised and motivated by targets and measurable results.

• Comfortable with telephone and email-based prospecting and appointment setting.

• Competent in Microsoft Office and CRM systems.

• Able to work independently while contributing positively to a team.

• Reliable, professional and receptive to feedback, training and development.
