Room Attendant

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Cleaning and servicing guest bedrooms and bathrooms
• Completing departure cleans and daily services for guests who are continuing their stay
• Ensuring all allocated rooms are cleaned and ready within the required time
• Changing bed linen, towels and other bathroom linen
• Making beds and presenting rooms according to company and brand standards
• Cleaning floors, bathrooms, furniture, mirrors, windows and other surfaces
• Replenishing guest supplies, refreshments and bathroom amenities
• Completing scheduled cleaning tasks, including turning mattresses, cleaning curtains and dusting high areas
• Checking rooms carefully and reporting any maintenance concerns or defects
• Reporting damaged or missing items to the Housekeeping Supervisor
• Recording and storing lost property according to company procedures
• Keeping housekeeping equipment, trolleys and storage areas clean and organised
• Using cleaning products and equipment safely
• Following all fire safety, health and safety and security procedures
• Supporting colleagues in other housekeeping areas when required
• Respecting guest privacy and maintaining confidentiality at all times

What we are looking for:

• Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience is desirable but not essential
• A reliable and hardworking approach
• Good attention to detail and pride in maintaining high standards
• The ability to organise your workload and complete rooms within the required time
• A friendly and approachable manner
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• The ability to follow instructions and work independently
• The ability to complete physical tasks, including standing, bending, lifting and moving housekeeping equipment
• Flexibility to work mornings, weekends and bank holidays
