OR119513 – Estate Services Cleaner – Manual Labour

Work Pattern: Monday to Friday, (8am to 4:00pm) 35 hours per week

PAYE Pay Rate: £15.00 per hour

Main Purpose of the Role

To provide a high-quality, reliable and flexible cleaning service across multiple locations, maintaining safe, clean and welcoming environments for residents and visitors.

Typical Day

• Travel from the Hastings base to different sites.
• Clean communal areas, kitchens, toilets, bathrooms and showers.
• Complete general cleaning duties to a high standard.
• Use cleaning equipment and products safely.
• Carry out manual handling where required.
• Work independently and as part of a team.
• Follow Health & Safety and cleaning procedures.
• Deal with challenging cleaning tasks, including human or animal waste and urine-affected areas, following approved procedures.
• Maintain cleanliness standards across all assigned locations.

Essential Requirements

• Previous cleaning experience.
• Basic understanding of Health & Safety.
• Full UK Driving Licence – essential.
• Must live in or around the Hastings area.
• Ability to travel between multiple sites.
• Physically fit and able to undertake manual handling.
• Reliable, flexible and positive approach.
• Willingness to undertake all aspects of the cleaning role, including toilets, bathrooms, showers and challenging waste-cleaning duties.
