Container Unloader

Cogent Staffing are recruiting for a Container Unloader to work on an adhoc/when required basis. At least 1 weeks notice will be given for container dates, first date being 28th October.

This role would suit candidates in between jobs or candidates that may be looking for some extra hours per week to top them up if they are available.

THE ROLE:

• Safely unload materials from lorries and containers using appropriate equipment.
• Ensure accurate sorting and placement of items in the warehouse according to established procedures.
• Maintain an organised workspace, ensuring that all safety protocols are followed.
• Perform heavy lifting and materials handling while adhering to safety guidelines.

THE CANDIDATE:

• Candidates should be comfortable with heavy lifting and possess a strong work ethic, demonstrating reliability and commitment to safety in all tasks undertaken.

THE SALARY AND BENEFITS:

• £12.71 per hour 4 to 8 hours per day
• Adhoc work as and when required, 1 weeks notice given for container dates.
