Composite Fitter

Location: Raynesway, Derby

Hours: Monday to Friday, 6:00am - 2:00pm

Pay: £14.50 per hour (37.5 hours paid per week)

We're looking for experienced Composite Fitters to join a well-established manufacturing business based in Raynesway, Derby - moving to Ilkeston within a few weeks.

This is a hands-on role where you'll be working with composite materials, assembling and finishing components to a high standard. If you've worked in manufacturing, assembly, fabrication, fitting, or a similar environment and are confident using hand tools and working from engineering drawings, we'd like to hear from you.

Duties Will Include:

• Assembling and fitting composite components
• Trimming, sanding and finishing parts
• Bonding materials using specialist adhesives
• Working from technical drawings and build instructions
• Carrying out quality checks throughout the manufacturing process
• Using hand tools and measuring equipment safely and accurately
• Meeting production targets while maintaining high standards
• Keeping work areas clean and organised

We're Looking For:

• Previous experience in a manufacturing, assembly, fitting, fabrication or composites role
• Ability to read and follow engineering drawings and instructions
• Good attention to detail and pride in producing quality work
• Experience using hand tools and measuring equipment
• Reliable and hardworking approach
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn
