London (Flexible Hybrid / Remote Working)
Our client is a leading luxury travel brand, specialising in exceptional, tailor-made travel experiences across some of the world's most extraordinary destinations. Part of an established international travel group, the business is investing in its digital capabilities and looking for an Organic Performance Manager to lead the next phase of organic growth.
This is an exciting opportunity for a commercially minded SEO leader who combines strong technical expertise with a broader understanding of content strategy, AI-driven search and organic acquisition. You'll take ownership of the end-to-end SEO strategy, translating technical insights into meaningful improvements across search visibility, qualified enquiries and ultimately revenue, whilst managing and developing a small team.
The Opportunity
-
Take full ownership of organic search strategy for an established luxury travel brand with an international customer base
-
Play a pivotal role in reversing organic traffic decline and developing a sustainable, commercially focused growth strategy
-
Combine technical SEO expertise with broader strategic ownership across content, international SEO, AI/GEO and conversion optimisation
-
Shape the business's approach to emerging AI search platforms, including ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews, Perplexity and Gemini
-
Develop and implement a data-led SEO roadmap, identifying opportunities across technical performance, content and customer journeys
-
Move beyond traditional SEO metrics to focus on high-intent traffic, qualified enquiries, lead conversion and revenue contribution
-
Take a hands-on approach to technical SEO whilst influencing wider content and digital marketing strategy
-
Manage and develop two SEO Executives, helping build a high-performing organic search function
-
Work closely with senior stakeholders across Marketing, Content, Product, Sales and wider Group Digital teams
-
Join an ambitious international business with genuine autonomy to introduce new ideas, challenge existing approaches and drive measurable commercial impact
Responsibilities
-
Own and evolve the end-to-end organic search strategy across technical SEO, content optimisation, international search and AI/GEO
-
Diagnose organic performance challenges through comprehensive technical audits, data analysis and competitor benchmarking
-
Develop and prioritise a technical SEO roadmap covering crawlability, indexation, JavaScript rendering, site architecture, structured data and website performance
-
Translate technical findings into actionable recommendations across content, landing pages, customer journeys and wider organic acquisition
-
Lead technical SEO implementation, working with internal stakeholders and wider technical resources to deliver improvements
-
Identify high-value keyword opportunities and content gaps across international markets, destinations and customer search intent
-
Develop and implement strategies to improve brand visibility, citations and discoverability across AI-powered search platforms
-
Analyse organic performance using GA4, Google Search Console, Screaming Frog, Semrush, Ahrefs and other SEO platforms
-
Build reporting frameworks and forecasts that connect organic search activity to qualified leads, conversion rates, acquisition efficiency and revenue
-
Optimise landing pages and website content to improve search relevance, user experience and conversion performance
-
Collaborate with Content, Product and Marketing teams to ensure technical SEO insights inform wider content and digital strategies
-
Lead experimentation across SEO, AI search, content and conversion optimisation, using performance data to inform future investment
-
Manage, mentor and develop two SEO Executives, setting clear priorities, objectives and performance expectations
Your Profile
-
6+ years' experience in SEO, ideally within a Senior SEO Manager, SEO Lead, Organic Performance Manager or similar position
-
Proven experience defining and owning an end-to-end SEO strategy, rather than specialising exclusively in technical SEO or content
-
Strong hands-on technical SEO expertise, including website auditing, crawlability, indexation, site architecture, structured data and technical optimisation
-
Able to translate complex technical SEO findings into broader content, user experience and commercial growth opportunities
-
Demonstrable experience diagnosing organic performance challenges, developing SEO roadmaps and implementing measurable improvements
-
Strong understanding of content-led SEO, keyword strategy, search intent and how technical and content optimisation work together
-
Experience implementing AI/GEO strategies, with an understanding of visibility, citations and performance across emerging AI search platforms
-
Commercially and analytically strong, with experience connecting SEO activity to qualified traffic, lead generation, conversion and revenue
-
Confident using GA4, Google Search Console, Screaming Frog, Semrush, Ahrefs and wider SEO analytics platforms
-
Familiarity with HTML, CSS, JavaScript SEO and CMS platforms, particularly WordPress
-
Experience working across international websites and multiple markets would be advantageous
-
Previous people management experience, with the ability to develop junior SEO specialists whilst remaining hands-on
-
Experience within luxury travel, hospitality, premium ecommerce or other high-value, considered-purchase sectors would be particularly advantageous
-
Equally open to strong agency-side candidates who have owned SEO strategies for relevant luxury or travel brands
-
Confident collaborating with Content, Product, Marketing and senior commercial stakeholders to implement SEO improvements
-
Curious about AI, emerging search technologies, experimentation and the evolving relationship between traditional SEO and generative search
-
Comfortable operating with autonomy, balancing strategic thinking with hands-on delivery in a collaborative, ambitious environment
This role is particularly well suited to someone who has developed their career across both technical and broader SEO strategy, with a strong understanding of how organic search contributes to commercial growth. Experience within luxury travel or premium brands would be advantageous, but we're equally interested in candidates from other sectors who can demonstrate end-to-end SEO ownership, technical expertise and measurable commercial impact.
