Tradewind Recruitment are working with a welcoming primary school in Wellingborough who are looking for a passionate and dedicated Key Stage 1 Teacher to join their team from November.

The Role

As the class teacher, you will be responsible for:

• Planning and delivering creative, engaging lessons in line with the Key Stage 1 curriculum

• Creating a structured classroom environment that encourages positive behaviour and active learning

• Assessing pupil progress and adapting teaching to support different abilities and learning styles

• Developing pupils' literacy, numeracy and wider learning skills

• Working collaboratively with teaching assistants and other school staff

• Building positive relationships with pupils and parents

• Supporting children's social, emotional and academic development

• Contributing to the wider school community and maintaining high teaching standards

The Ideal Candidate

We're keen to hear from teachers who:

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

• Have experience teaching in KS1 or are an ECT ready to begin their teaching career

• Can deliver engaging lessons that capture pupils' interest

• Have effective classroom and behaviour management skills

• Are adaptable, organised and confident working independently

• Have a positive attitude and a genuine commitment to children's education

• Work well with colleagues and contribute to a supportive team environment

• Have an enhanced DBS on the Update Service or are willing to obtain one
