Year 4 Teacher – Rotherham (S66)
Full-time | Starting 2nd November | Long-term opportunity

We are currently recruiting for an enthusiastic and committed Year 4 Teacher to join a welcoming primary school in Rotherham (S66). This is a full-time position starting on 2nd November, offering an excellent opportunity for an experienced teacher to join a supportive school team.

As a Year 4 Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective lessons across the Year 4 curriculum, ensuring pupils are supported to make strong progress in their learning.

You will:

• Plan and deliver high-quality, engaging lessons in line with the Year 4 curriculum.
• Create a positive, inclusive and well-managed classroom environment.
• Differentiate lessons and activities to meet the needs of all learners.
• Monitor and assess pupil progress, adapting teaching where necessary.
• Build positive and professional relationships with pupils, staff and parents/carers.
• Support pupils’ academic, social and emotional development.
• Promote positive behaviour and high expectations across the classroom.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues and the wider school team.
• Contribute to the wider life of the school and support pupils beyond the classroom.

The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for a dedicated and passionate primary teacher who has experience teaching within KS2, ideally with experience in Year 4.

The successful candidate will be:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Experienced teaching within a primary school setting.
• Confident delivering the KS2 curriculum.
• Able to plan and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons.
• Strong in classroom management and behaviour strategies.
• Passionate about supporting children’s learning and development.
• Reliable, enthusiastic and committed to working as part of a school team.
• Able to build positive relationships with pupils and staff.
