School Caretaker

Provide Education are recruiting for School Caretakers to work within schools across Rotherham.

We are looking for reliable candidates with experience in caretaking, maintenance, facilities or similar hands-on roles. Previous school experience would be beneficial but is not essential.

Key responsibilities:

• Opening and securing the school site
• General maintenance and minor repairs
• Carrying out site and health and safety checks
• Supporting with deliveries and moving equipment
• Maintaining the school grounds and buildings
• Reporting maintenance issues
• Supporting contractors visiting the site
• Ensuring the school remains safe and secure

Requirements:

• Previous caretaking, maintenance or facilities experience
• Practical maintenance skills
• Ability to work independently
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply
