Warehouse Operative

Location: Markham Vale, Chesterfield
Salary: £12.71 per hour 
Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday
Shifts: 10am-6pm or 8am-4pm
Contract: 12 weeks temp to perm

The Opportunity

We are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Operative  to join a well-established and growing business based in Markham Vale, Chesterfield.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking for a stable, long-term position within a supportive working environment. The successful candidate will play an important role in the day-to-day running of the warehouse, ensuring customer orders are picked, packed and prepared accurately for dispatch.

Key Responsibilities

• Picking and packing customer orders accurately and efficiently.

• Preparing goods for dispatch and shipment.

• Loading and unloading deliveries.

• Moving and organising stock safely throughout the warehouse.

• Labelling, checking and preparing goods prior to dispatch.

• Supporting daily warehouse and dispatch operations.

• Maintaining a clean, tidy and safe working environment.

• Working collaboratively with colleagues to meet operational deadlines.

• Assisting with general warehouse duties as required.

Previous warehouse, picking, packing or dispatch experience would be advantageous, although a positive attitude and willingness to learn are equally important.
