Are you an experienced Quality Inspector with a background in manufacturing and AS9102 First Article Inspection Reports? We are looking for a detail-oriented individual to join a growing team in Thame, supporting a busy quality department during an exciting facility transition project.

This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in ensuring products meet the highest quality standards while supporting customer requirements and production schedules.

Key Responsibilities

• Complete AS9102 First Article Inspection Reports (FAIRs) for internally manufactured products.
• Review and verify AS9102 FAIRs submitted by suppliers.
• Carry out dimensional and visual inspections on components and assemblies.
• Maintain daily inspection records and quality reports.
• Support the identification, investigation, and control of non-conforming products.
• Ensure inspection activities are completed in line with customer and production deadlines.
• Work closely with internal teams, customers, and suppliers to resolve quality-related issues.
• Provide general support to the Quality team as required.

About You

• Previous experience completing AS9102 First Article Inspection Reports.
• Experience working within a manufacturing or engineering environment.
• Able to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• Confident using inspection equipment such as verniers, calipers, gauges, and measuring tools.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Positive team player with a proactive and flexible approach.
• Able to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure.
