Your contributions will directly enhance how clients interact with critical maritime analytics, driving data-driven decisions across global supply chains.
Key Responsibilities

-
Design and implement high-performance REST and GraphQL APIs that efficiently stream real-time global trade data.
-
Own feature delivery end-to-end, from early technical scoping and data modeling to deployment, monitoring, and production support.
-
Maintain software quality, observability, and system reliability across cloud infrastructure on AWS using Docker, CI/CD, and Datadog.
-
Integrate modern AI-assisted engineering workflows (e.g., Cursor, Copilot, Claude) to accelerate feature development and streamline code maintenance.
-
Collaborate cross-functionally with Product Managers, Designers, Data Scientists, and peer Engineers to translate product vision into scalable software.

3+ years of professional full-stack software development experience building and maintaining production web applications.

Working knowledge of Typescript/Javascript, Vue, React and familiarity with micro front end architectures.
-
Demonstrated hands-on experience building backend microservices and APIs with Python (FastAPI) or Node.js.
-
Practical experience working with cloud infrastructure (AWS), containerization (Docker), and automated CI/CD pipelines.
-
Strong fundamentals in relational or NoSQL database design, API design patterns, and automated testing practices.
-
Familiarity with AI-assisted software development tools and workflows.
-
Exposure to GraphQL, Datadog monitoring, or event-driven backend systems.
-
Interest or background in maritime logistics, energy markets, or global supply chain datasets.
