As a valued member of our team, you will inspire young learners, nurture their development, and help create a positive foundation for lifelong learning and success.

Key responsibilities:

  • Support the Reception Teacher in delivering engaging learning activities that promote children's development and early learning.
  • Build positive relationships with pupils, encouraging confidence, independence, and a love of learning.
  • Assist with the observation, assessment, and recording of children's progress and achievements.
  • Support children's personal, social, emotional, and physical development through play-based learning opportunities.
  • Help maintain a safe, nurturing, and stimulating classroom environment that reflects the needs of all learners.

  • FTE: SCP 3 - 4 £25,614 - £26,016 + £4,000 (ILW) 37 hours/52 weeks.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Experience working with young children, preferably within an Early Years or Reception setting.
  • A relevant Teaching Assistant qualification - Level 3
  • Good understanding of child development and the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
