FLT Reach Truck Operator – Tamworth

People Solutions are currently recruiting for an FLT Reach Truck Operator to join our well-established client based in Tamworth, Staffordshire.

This position is ideal for applicants who have previously worked as a Reach Truck Driver, FLT Reach Driver, Forklift Truck Operator, Counterbalance Forklift Driver or Warehouse Operative with forklift experience.

Shifts

 • Monday to Friday
 • 5:30am – 3:00pm
 • 7:30am – 5:00pm
 • Shift allocation to be confirmed

Rates of Pay

 • £13.42 per hour
 • Overtime available – rates to be confirmed

Day-to-Day Duties

As an FLT Reach Truck Operator, your duties will include:

 • Operating Reach and Counterbalance Forklift Trucks safely and efficiently
 • Loading and unloading vehicles using forklift trucks and pump trucks
 • Using a PDA to process and track warehouse movements
 • Labelling products and completing promotional builds
 • Carrying out quality checks to maintain high standards
 • Ensuring customer orders are completed accurately and on time
 • Supporting general warehouse operations as required

Essential Skills

To be successful as an FLT Reach Truck Operator, you will need:

 • Previous experience operating a Reach Truck
 • Ability to operate Counterbalance Forklift Trucks and pump trucks
 • Basic spoken and written English
 • Good communication skills
 • Strong manual dexterity and attention to detail
 • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
 • A reliable, punctual and hardworking attitude
 • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
 • Flexibility to undertake physically demanding warehouse duties
