Location: Dudley, DY5
Pay Rate: £110 – 120
Days: 8:30 – 15:30, Monday to Friday (Term Time Only)

Are you a Teaching Assistant with a passion for supporting children with additional needs? A welcoming primary school in the Brierley Hill area is seeking a dedicated TA to support pupils with Special Educational Needs.

This is a rewarding, hands-on role within a well-established team, ideal for someone confident supporting children with additional needs who need patience, structure, and emotional support throughout the school day.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Provide tailored 1:1 and small group support
• Support children with Autism (including non-verbal pupils) and SEMH needs
• Use visual aids, PECS or Makaton (where appropriate) to aid communication
• Promote self-regulation and support positive behaviour strategies
• Work closely with the class teacher, SENCO and external specialists

What We’re Looking For:

• A Level 3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning, or an equivalent relevant qualification
• Previous experience supporting children with ASD, non-verbal needs and/or SEMH (essential)
• Confident using communication tools and de-escalation techniques
• A team player who values consistency and routine
