Teaching Assistant/LSA - SEN

Spencer Clarke Group are currently looking for Teaching Assistants and Support Staff to work within SEN settings in Blyth.

This is an opportunity for professionals who are passionate about supporting children and young people with additional needs and helping them reach their full potential.

The Role

• 1:1 and small-group support

• Supporting pupils with SEN and additional needs

• Supporting learning and engagement

• Managing and de-escalating challenging behaviour

• Working alongside teachers and support staff

• Supporting individual learning needs

• Creating a safe and supportive environment

We're Looking For

• Previous experience working with children or young people

• Experience within education, SEN, residential or similar settings

• Confidence supporting additional needs

• Patient, resilient and reliable

• Strong communication and behaviour management skills

• Ability to build positive relationships

• Passionate about helping young people progress
