About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Transport Planner with around 10 years of industry experience to join a forward-thinking transport consultancy.

This role offers the chance to lead high-profile projects, provide expert advice, and mentor a team of talented professionals. You will work on diverse transport planning initiatives that shape sustainable, efficient, and innovative transport networks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage transport planning projects from inception to completion.

• Conduct complex transport assessments, modelling, and feasibility studies.

• Develop and deliver transport strategies, policy advice, and reports for a variety of clients.

• Mentor and support junior team members, fostering professional development.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, stakeholders, and local authorities.

• Keep up-to-date with transport planning best practices, regulations, and innovations.

Requirements:

• Around 10 years of experience in transport planning, with a strong portfolio of projects.

• Expertise in transport modelling, traffic assessments, and strategic transport planning.

• Excellent knowledge of UK transport policy, planning guidance, and sustainability considerations.

• Strong project management, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.

• Degree in Transport Planning, Civil Engineering, or a related field.

• Chartered status (CIHT or equivalent) is desirable but not essential.
