As a Senior Systems Engineer specializing in MBSE, you will lead efforts to optimize engineering models, enhance system integration, and enable data-driven decisions—all with a focus on precision and impactful stakeholder engagement. What You’ll Do: Support and advance model-based systems engineering practices, including requirements management, interface definition, trade studies, and interdisciplinary analysis. Maintain the integrity, consistency, and usability of engineering models across teams. Develop visualizations and reporting tools to communicate complex data effectively. Collaborate with diverse stakeholders, from business leaders to subject matter experts, ensuring alignment and clarity. Develop and implement verification strategies to ensure accuracy, traceability, and reliability of engineering data. Support the organisation’s SQL database, ensuring data integrity and accessibility. Monitor and improve model performance through metrics analysis and continuous refinement. Required Skills and Qualifications: Proven experience in Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) Expertise managing and maintaining complex engineering models Strong data analysis, reporting, and visualization skills Proficiency in SQL and database management Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication abilities Experience developing verification and validation strategies within engineering contexts Nice to Have Skills: Familiarity with MBSE tools such as MagicDraw, No Magic, or Enterprise Architect Knowledge of system integration and interface definition frameworks Experience working within high-security or defence-related environments Advanced certifications related to systems engineering or data management Preferred Education and Experience: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related technical field Minimum 5 years’ experience in a systems engineering role, with a focus on MBSE or related disciplines Other Requirements: Security Clearance at DV level – active Ability to work onsite full-time, with flexible options like a 4-day week or 9-day fortnight 37-hour workweek, with a 4-week notice period for transition For more information or to apply - call Martin [phone removed] or email [email removed]
