Payroll Administrator

We are very excited to be working with a fabulous multi-sited firm experiencing continued growth - they are looking to expand their payroll team and take on an additional team member. 

This role would someone with previous experience in payroll, either within an accountancy practice or a payroll bureau. A flexible, approachable, determined attitude is essential, and the desire to actively contribute to the firm's ongoing success. 

The role will include: 

• Liaising with clients and entering payroll data from start to finish accurately

• Reconciling payroll to client data, getting client approval as appropriate and issuing payroll reports & payslips

• Preparing payroll journals

• Reconciling weekly and monthly PAYE figures

• Administering Pension Auto-enrolment including making appropriate declarations to The Pensions Regulator

• Producing and distributing pension scheme returns, including notification of changes in members’ status and uploading to pension provider

• Dealing effectively with queries from clients and HMRC
