About the role
Role: COSS – Controller of Site Safety
We are currently looking for an experienced Controller of Site Safety (COSS) for railway works in Aylesbury.
Location: Aylesbury
Pay Rate: £21.23 per hour
Requirements:
- Valid PTS (Personal Track Safety)
- Valid COSS competency
- Sentinel Card with relevant competencies showing as valid/current
- Track Safety / COSS medical and D&A (Drug & Alcohol) requirements must be valid/current in line with Sentinel requirements
- Good understanding of Network Rail safety procedures and safe systems of work
- Previous experience working as a COSS on railway infrastructure
- Ability to carry out COSS duties safely and effectively, including site briefings and maintaining a safe system of work
- Must be reliable, safety-conscious and able to work as part of a team
