Customer Technical Support (Roofing/Cladding)

Ref:   B8-S9961 We are keen to hear from candidates who have a good technical background with a 3rd level qualification in an engineering discipline as well as candidates who will have at least one years’ experience in a technical area such as mechanical/construction in a roofing and cladding field.    A full job description is available. Working as part of a customer-orientated Technical Service Department, providing a high level of product/technical support for the development, manufacturing and use of the products. The successful candidate must:

• have a 3rd level qualification in a technical subject e.g engineering / mechanical / chemical engineering OR have a minimum of one years’ experience in a technical area, preferably mechanical/construction in a roofing and cladding field
• be able to demonstrate experience of providing technical support in a sales / commercial environment
• be able to demonstrate experience of engineering plastics
• have good manual / practical skills
• have a good working knowledge of windows based software e.g. Microsoft Office;
• be able to initiate tasks and manage multiple tasks and projects
• be adaptable and able to cope with rapidly changing demands
• Carry out product investigations where necessary

The following would be an advantage:

• have a high level of proficiency with AutoCAD or similar software;
• knowledge / experience of plastics materials;
• Clean driving licence.
