• Circa £45k Basic Salary
• Hours: Monday to Friday 8am to 5.30pm - No Weekends!

Our client, a well-established independent garage located in Dartford, Kent, is on the lookout for a skilled Vehicle Technician to strengthen their dedicated team. With a commitment to delivering high-quality automotive services, this garage has built a reputation for excellence in vehicle maintenance and repair.   Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct diagnostic assessments and perform repairs on a variety of vehicles.
• Carry out routine servicing and maintenance to ensure vehicle safety and reliability.
• Maintain accurate records of work completed and parts used.
• Collaborate effectively with colleagues to provide exceptional service to customers.
• Stay updated with the latest automotive technologies and repair techniques.
• Assist in training and mentoring junior technicians as needed.

Skills & Experience Required:

• Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician, preferably within an independent garage setting.
• Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems in vehicles.
• Ability to diagnose and repair faults efficiently.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.
• An NVQ or equivalent qualification in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair is essential.
• Full UK driving license.
