Assistant Accountant

Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will contribute to the overall success of the business, through supporting the finance team in the effective management and reporting of divisional performance in line with business requirements.

You will be expected to:    

• Promote and act in accordance with Group values, systems, policies and procedures.
  
• Support the finance team in ensuring that all deadlines and financial timetable are achieved.
• Assume responsibility for all overhead costs, ensuring they are correctly coded and apportioned.
• Manage the Group balance sheet submission process, from completion of reconciliation to review with FM & FD.
• Assist with accurate and robust forecasting and planning in line with requirements.
• Control the quarterly and annual Corporate Sustainability Questionnaire process, ensuring all data is accurately collected and recorded within the submission.
• Point of contact for finance shared service centre, offering support and guidance when required.
• Assist with appropriate reporting to the MD and Divisional board.
