Are you a Senior or Principal Electrical Engineer with data centre experience who wants to move beyond detailed design and into a more project management-focused role?

An established engineering business operating across the data centre and critical infrastructure sectors is looking for a Lead Electrical Engineer to support the coordination and delivery of complex, mission-critical projects.

This is an opportunity to use your technical knowledge in a more project-focused position, coordinating design packages, engaging with customers and helping deliver engineering solutions.

What will you be doing?

• Coordinating electrical design packages, technical interfaces and project deliverables.
• Working with customers, consultants, contractors and internal teams to support project delivery.
• Advising on technical requirements, identifying challenges and finding practical solutions.
• Identifying project needs and coordinating external specialists where required.
• Ensuring electrical systems are coordinated effectively with wider M&E project requirements.

Who might this suit?
We’re keen to speak with Lead Electrical Engineers, Senior Electrical Design Engineers and Principal Electrical Engineers looking to take on greater responsibility.

You’ll ideally have experience delivering data centre or other mission-critical projects, gained within a building services consultancy, specialist M&E contractor or critical infrastructure business.

You don’t necessarily need to be an established Project Manager, but you’ll need strong electrical engineering knowledge, excellent communication skills and an interest in taking greater ownership of project delivery.
