Selling an IFA business, for a retiring IFA, means successfully integrating their clients in the new IFA firm, with the support of a strong mergers and acquisitions (M&A) team.

Successful IFA acquisitions are only the beginning of the story, value is added through integration, by bringing people, systems and processes together in a way that allows everyone to move forward with confidence.

This growing wealth management firm is looking to appoint an experienced Integration Manager to lead this important part of their continued growth.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys combining strategic thinking with hands-on leadership, bringing clarity to complex projects while developing a high-performing team.

The role sits within the Integration Team and involves managing a team of six, so strong people management experience is essential, along with solid integration knowledge and experience. We are looking for candidates with a background in wealth management or financial services who understand the importance of delivering seamless transitions for both clients and colleagues.

The position offers hybrid working, with three days each week based in Bromsgrove, together with an excellent range of employee benefits and genuine opportunities for career development.

The Integration Manager Opportunity

As Integration Manager, you will oversee the successful delivery of post IFA acquisition integration projects, helping ensure every transition supports the wider strategic objectives of the business.

Working across multiple departments, you will coordinate integration activity, guide decision-making through meaningful analysis and provide leadership to a dedicated team responsible for delivering successful outcomes.

This is a varied role where no two projects are quite the same. You will enjoy balancing strategic planning with practical delivery, building strong relationships across the business and ensuring every integration is completed efficiently, thoughtfully and with clients firmly at the centre.

As the Integration Manager, you will be:

• Leading the planning and delivery of IFA integration projects following business acquisitions
• Creating structured integration roadmaps that align with strategic business priorities
• Managing and developing a team of six, providing coaching, guidance and support to help individuals and the wider team thrive
• Coordinating cross-functional workstreams, ensuring clear communication and shared objectives across the business
• Reviewing operational, financial and client information to support informed decision-making throughout each integration
• Identifying opportunities to improve processes, increase efficiency and enhance future integration activity
• Monitoring project progress, anticipating potential challenges and implementing practical solutions to maintain momentum
• Producing meaningful management information and presenting clear insights to senior leadership teams
• Encouraging a culture of continuous improvement through data-led decision making and collaborative working

Your experience relevant to this Integration Manager role:

You will be an experienced leader who enjoys bringing structure to change and helping people succeed through periods of growth.

You will likely bring:

• Previous experience managing business integration projects, mergers and acquisitions (M&A), large-scale change programmes or similar strategic initiatives
• Strong people leadership experience, with a genuine passion for developing successful teams
• A background within wealth management, financial planning or the wider financial services sector
• Excellent analytical skills and confidence working with complex operational and financial information
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Power BI and other Microsoft applications
• The ability to interpret data and translate findings into practical business recommendations
• Excellent organisational and project management skills
• The confidence to build relationships across multiple business functions and influence stakeholders at all levels
• A proactive, solutions-focused approach with the ability to adapt within a growing organisation
